Artifacts:
Trueshot Crossbow: A crossbow enchanted with Trueshot. A steady hand will almost never miss when firing this crossbow.

Scrying Stone, Unlocked: A rare blue scrying stone set inside of a silver amulet. By holding it by the chain over a map the user can ask the location of any living being they can clearly picture in their mind. If they are alive and unhidden by magic the scrying stone will slowly swing before stopping. The pointed tip will be angled to show where in Idan they are at that time.

Black Dragon Scale: The back of the scale has the alchemical symbol for fire tattooed on it in red ink.

Elven Ivysteel Chainmail: A very rare and very light set of chainmail that fits almost unnoticeably between two layers of clothing making an excellent hidden mesh armor to protect the wearer from attacks by melee weapons and arrows

Three Aura Tracer Compasses: Three large, palm-sized compasses with a clear dome at their centers. If something containing traces of a magical aura is placed in the dome the compass can be used to track the nearby source of that aura. The signature fades more quickly the less potent the magical trace left behind is. The farther the source is from the compass the weaker and less certain the reading from it will be. They can occasionally lead in the wrong direction if a stronger, stationary trace of the same aura is left behind. These tracers are used by black market poachers in hunting rare magical creatures. If a creature is killed the signature remains until the aura has fully left the creature being tracked.

The Energy of Emotion: A Guide for Empaths: This book offers a variety of information for those born with or developing the two types of empathy-based magic. Shared emotional knowledge and information, and the gaining of magical abilities through emotional 'bridges' or connections between two individuals.

The Myths and Monsters of Pseudo-Dark Magic: A compendium of information about magic 'on the edge' of forbidden and how to safely and secretively use this magic without drawing unwanted attention. This book includes a passage on how to use the shadow and astral realms to communicate across not only great physical distances but also across realms. The book warns of the risk of opening up such channels and the dangerous line being walked between spiritual and arcane magic and the forbidden old and dark magics of the world.

Blue Dragonborn Scale: Its original owner met with a terrible fate.

Eye of the Glass Sea:
A glass pearl filled with a liquid that shimmers and dances like a school of fish. When the possessor of the the pearl enters the ocean they will be able to breathe the sea water and understand the merfolk's speech, which can only be sung below the ocean's surface. Webbing will also appear between their fingers and toes while they are in contact with the water.

Abilities:
Epithymetikon's Energy: Moments of high emotion cause her to emanate heat into the air around her and things that touch her recoil as if burned. Stronger emotions are accompanied by stronger heat. With practice and careful control of her emotions, she discovers that she can focus that heat into her hand, temporarily imbuing any non-living thing she touches, such as a weapon or rock, with magma. The affected item appears molten, radiating an intense heat, and can be thrown or used to strike other objects, burning them severely and causing the point of contact to burst into flames. She can touch these objects without fear of burning herself, but she is only immune to the heat from the objects themselves and not other fire or objects set ablaze by them. She can also focus this heat inward so that any creatures that make contact with her are afflicted with a temporarily crippling burn at the point of contact.

Glamour: Shapeshifter Illusion: Billie can mimic the voices of those she has overheard speak since her awakening. She can also fool others with a type of glamour that allows her to temporarily project the appearance of someone she has seen since her awakening over her own form, tricking most into believing she is that person. She can alter these appearances slightly to change their clothing or weapons to others she has seen or give the appearance of injuries. These illusions can be maintained as long as her focus remains, though the longer she holds them the more focus and magic is required to maintain the illusion. It will fade if she loses consciousness or takes enough damage to break her focus.

Empathic Echo:
When Billie makes direct skin contact with a non-living object while using this ability she is able to feel an echo of the emotions left behind by the last living thing to touch the object.

Animas Alterations:
Fear: After undergoing a harrowing trial Billie has become unconventionally more aware of her own inner essence. As a result of becoming more in tune with her spirit, Deirdre has grown more intelligent and the link between Billie and Deirdre is now strong enough to allow them to communicate telepathically with one another.

Fleeting Shadows: Deirdre's eyes developed an outer ring of smoky gray when she resurrected with a line-shaped scar over her heart. Since then she has been able to melt into the shadows, and travel across connected shadows, formless and unseen. She can reform from these shadows at will.

Living Creatures:
Hatched Dragonet: Billie's dragonet is simply named Red and is a male dragon. Personality-wise, taking into account the company raising him, he will end up being a quiet guy with a serious streak. While on the quiet side, it's less about being shy and more that he observes and acts strategically (as best as a kid can, anyway), though that doesn't excuse him from being a little shit towards people he knows better. He also picks up Billie's habit of cursing regularly in conversation when he finally gets around to talking. Look, he's being raised by criminals, what did you expect?

Regarding magic exposure, he will spend a lot of time around Billie's heat magics originally picked up from that shady scale form the courier and a whole lot of teleportation and illusion magic, whatever magic is used in that Basket of Holding Daud got (he goes into that a lot for hiding). Sneaky shit, etc. Billie isn't really trying to shape his magic one way or another so this is just residual.

Appearance-wise, has an unusual body form, with a pair of wing arms at the front, hand-like forelimbs, and powerful hind limbs. He can walk on four or six limbs. He is crimson with a black streak running down his back and soft spines from the back of his head to the tip of his feathered tail.
