Aphedi is not as quick to anger as some deities but she does have her pride. Being shunned will irk her but having already sunk some of her magic into him she would be unwilling to let him out of her teeth and keep trying to manipulate him to do her bidding, either by offering him more or by tricking him into doing things he might think he is doing to spite her.

The lack of chaotic edge to his use of her gifts would make her try to occasionally corrupt his mind. Some possible side effects to him rejecting her would be:
Nightmares used to alter his thinking with small, subtle manipulations aimed at corrupting his trust in others and occasionally his trust in himself/reality.
Random bursts of shadow magic in public places aimed at forcing him to react to defend himself.
Increased aggression from the serpent families.
Manipulating other followers of Aphedi (knowing or unknowing) into attacking or inconveniencing him.
Randomly using the powers or abilities she gave Daud against him or others around him

These are all just ideas for you to play with. If there are 1-2 types of shadow magic you would like to add to Daud's abilities from this we are more than happy to work with you. Her focus is usually on cloaking/deception/manipulation but there are plenty of other possibilities she would be capable of giving him.

As to cursing her, the mod team has a few but you are more than welcome to come up with your own. The most common is "two-headed snake" but it is also the least insulting to her. Overgrown worm and slimy eel are some other common ones that she doesn't enjoy at all. Two particularly irritating ones for her are Worthless Leech and Spineless Lizard. The more creative and disrespectful he is, the more likely it is to irritate her.

Although no one really knows exactly what the deities look like, they can all take on many forms, and Daud's outsider can be one of hers. The genders assigned to the deities are given by their priests/historical worshippers and used for ease but they are not restricted to form that suit those pronouns or their constellation representations since they are not traditional living creatures.
