RE: working outside the temples: I actually do have an idea on how to get word get spread without alarming the official temples/religious/government members. In canon, Nike's family live in an isolated island nation that broke ties with every other nation by becomming a self-sufficient state (due to the leader having to showcase her power which no other human outside their group have); however other nations know of its existance via legendary songs the travelling traboudours would sing about. Here is the legend told and this is the reaction other people outside the island nation have regarding the myth (including Nike's own irritation towards it). Will it be possible to mirror something similar in way of travelling bards (Satyrs, most likely) singing a similar story of the village but the village, itself, doesn't make any efforts to deny it but some people would: 1) avoid/be cautious of the clan, 2) only regard it as a simple obscure tale, or 3) investigate only to find the clan pushing their interest to exorcise spirits instead and that detail gets spread around?

RE: shadow realm: is it possible for woman going through an insanely complicated birth, enough to be in a life and death situation, be spiritually taken to the shadow realm for a split moment along with their unborn child? I'm thinking this could be another way for Nike to have a closer connection to the shadow realm to explain her strong affinity towards it? (Removed "without being in danger" because I realize it may be more fun if there is a sense of danger) In canon, her mother was left completely bedridden and sickly because of said complicated birth; it was enough for her to lose the ability to use her powers too. If it is possible, what other consequences will Nike bear?
