| Applications are Open and will remain open so long as the mod team can manage the application volume. Applications are usually processed Thursday-Friday. There is currently not a cast or player cap for the game but the mod team may change this if it becomes necessary in the future. Before submitting an application be sure to check our reserves page and taken page to ensure your character is available. Application challenges and duplicate characters will not be allowed. An Alternate Universe Guide is available Here to help players find a starting point for building their character's AU background. We also have an AU Workshop for brainstorming and peer assistance. Applications are screened. Applications should be submitted as a comment or comment string to this post and should not be linked. Players may submit applications for up to two characters at a time but the first application must be on the received applications list before a second character's application may be submitted. There are a lot of sections on this application but the mod team is looking for concise answers rather than lengthy explanations. Many of the questions on this application are designed to help you build up your character's alternate universe, and help the mod team understand who they are in this world. Have fun with it. 🜙 Player Information ⤛ Name: What you go by ⤛ Contact: How we can reach you most easily with questions ⤛ Over 18: A yes or no will suffice ⤛ Other characters in the game: If this is not your first application, otherwise n/a ⤛ Name: Your character's full name ⤛ Appearance: A short description or linked image ⤛ Canon: Where is your character originally from? ⤛ Age: How old were they in this game's world before they died. ⤛ Race: What race are they in this world, not in canon ⤛ Racial trait: About Traits. Be sure to check which racial traits your character's race can have before making your choice. ⤛ Race details: There is a large diversity among the races, give a brief description of your character's race-specific characteristics if they differ from their canon physiology. ⤛ Choice: Reason, Yearning, or Devotion? ⤛ Abilities: Your character's magical or special abilities as they would work in the game world. These abilities should fit their new race and the game world. Anyone can use magic no matter their race. Please identify what the abilities were in canon and what they are in the game world. You can do this in brief descriptions or by linking information about their canon abilities so the mod team can compare. ⤛ Skills: Your character's non-magical skills. These skills should be relevant to the game world. If any skills have changed from canon, please identify what the skill was in canon and what related skill it is in the game world. ⤛ Personality: Your character's personality presented as a list of 5-10 positive and negative personality traits. Each trait should have a 2-6 sentence description. ⤛ Canon History: Link to a character's canon history or summarize the same key events from canon you will be using in their alternate history below. ⤛ Key Alternate History Events: Pick 3-5 defining events in your character's canon past that helped make them who they are and rewrite them to fit the game world. Summarize to cover the most important points. Each event should be a minimum of four sentences. ⤛ Name: What your character will call it ⤛ Species: What kind of creature is it? ⤛ Gender: Is it male, female, or genderless? ⤛ Appearance: A link or description ⤛ Approximate size: How big or small is it? ⤛ Sample 1: A thread with 3 or more comments from your character that includes their animas in at least one of the tags or a 200-400 word written sample or top level that shows your character interacting with the game environment and their animas. ⤛ Sample 2: Any thread with five or more comments from your character. | |
